Say you are walking down the street or shopping at your favorite store, meandering along the path at your local park or a person, in another country, that has just been given a free piece of beautiful art .... then ZAP you have just been a part of my Free Art Friday!
I started out unconventional, but with a Bang! I sent, with the help of Lew Migliore of LGM and Associates and Anita Drennon of Administrative Services of Dalton, a 4x4 Dogwood Bloom painting to Trinidad. After a couple of days of flying, in Lew's carry on, Edouard Millet of Bouygues Construction was the first recipient of my artwork. This firm is in the process of renovation work at the Hyatt Trinidad Hotel. Mr. Migliore’s business takes him all over the world as a consultant to the floor covering industry. Thanks Lew for "getting on board" with this idea, both literally and figuratively!
Near and far I have decided to participate in the Global movement of Free Art, once a month, for a year! On one Friday, of my choosing, a piece of artwork will be placed in a findable location, with a card inside that says Free Art, or sent to a distant land to share with others internationally. I would say the first Friday of the month, but I never know when a friend or I will be traveling. I will give hints to the location on Facebook and Instagram during the week that the painting is to be hidden or delivered.

Mondays and Wednesdays to be in on the hunt!
I wrote a Blog each month for a year, a few years ago, and met some wonderful people associated with the arts. I would go to various places and write about other artist, galleries, museums and businesses. Sometimes, I would blog about humorous things going on in my life; so, I know that I have my work cut out for me. I am excited and looking forward to every minute of this new venture! If you find a painting or receive one, please let me know at: firstname.lastname@example.org The email address is also written on the back of the artwork.
Get on Board and Enjoy the Hunt,
Lisa Q. Caldwell
